BARACK OBAMA'S FIRST HUNDRED DAYS

Day 49 - March 9,  2009

President Obama said he would recognize GlobalWarmism as a legitimate religion, and will attend services as soon as Warmists find a building run by windmills.

Mr. Obama declared victory in Iraq but said he still opposes the surge.

The president responded to Osama bin Laden's video, offering to negotiate if Mr. Obama would come to a cave.  The president said he will come to any cave, and would even provide one for bin Laden if he came here.

The president said he did not believe Russia posed any new threats to Western Europe, and that maps of France given out to Russian soldiers were for tourism.

Michelle Obama said she favored abolition of the Republican Party as part of her husband's dream of national unity.  She insisted that you can't have unity when one party, the GOP, has ideas. 

Mr. Obama pardoned Karl Rove.  Rove hadn't been convicted of anything, but the president said he still wanted to pardon him.

Mr. Obama said he would make regular appearances on "Oprah," in something called Oprah's Presidential Box, to explain his policies.  Oprah said she was delighted to do it, as long as the president's comments could be kept to 90 seconds.  Mr. Obama pledged to help out with commercials.
