DOHA, Qatar (AP) -- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said his country would have ''no problem'' taking any of the remaining 240 Guantanamo detainees after they are released from the U.S. military prison.

They're his kind of guys.  But you can be sure they'd be shipped out within 24 hours to their home countries, and go right back on the terror circuit.

Public display of affection alert, from London's Telegraph:  Michelle Obama took the unusual step of hugging the Queen as she attended a glittering reception at Buckingham Palace ahead of the G20 summit.

Oh my gawd.  Is this going to be the standard now?  Who hugs whom?

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Don't have a cow, man! The Simpsons will appear on postage stamps. America's most enduring -- or is that endearing? -- dysfunctional family will be honored on their own stamps, the Postal Service announced.  It's been 20 years since Homer, Marge and family invaded the airwaves on Fox television, and the Postal Service says it plans five stamps featuring the couple and their offspring, Bart, Lisa and Maggie.

Remember the people we used to put on postage stamps?  But who needs those guys with wigs?

A UNIVERSITY is offering a master's degree in Facebook, MySpace and Twitter but it will cost students more than $9000.  For £4400 (49075) Birmingham City University in the UK will teach students how to blog, set up podcasts and make the most of the social media websites for marketing.  "It's not for freaks or IT geeks. The tools learned on this course will be accessible to many people," convenor Jon Hickman told The Daily Mail.

Look, if it keeps them out of anthropology or Middle East Studies, I'm all for it.
