PLYMOUTH, England, May 26 (UPI) -- A couple celebrating their 81st wedding anniversary Tuesday are poised to break the record for Britain's longest married couple.
Frank Milford, 101, and his wife Anita, 100, were married May 26, 1928, and continue to live together at a Plymouth, England, nursing home, the BBC reported Tuesday.

The secret is to avoid the British health system.

PALMERSTON NORTH, New Zealand, May 26 (UPI) -- A local official in New Zealand says it's time for Palmerston North to join other cities by allowing the number 13 for street addresses.

MALIA, Greece, May 25 (UPI) -- A group of 17 British men on the Greek island of Crete have been cleared of charges related to the naughty nun costumes they wore in public.
The tourists were charged with "scandal and misrepresentation of a costume or uniform" for wearing nun costumes with thongs and garter belts in the town of Malia, The Sun reported Monday.

And we worry about terrorism.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska, May 25 (UPI) -- A man with a beard in the shape of a snowshoe was awarded the top prize during the the 2009 World Beard and Moustache Championships in Anchorage, Alaska.
