OCTOBER 22, 2009 SILBURY HILL, England, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- British UFO experts said they were contacted by a police officer who told them he saw three extraterrestrials examining a crop circle. Experts Andrew Russell and Colin Andrews said the Wiltshire County, England, police sergeant, who was not named, told them he saw three figures standing around a fresh crop circle in a field near Silbury Hill in the county and stopped to investigate, The Daily Telegraph reported Wednesday. "At first, he thought they were forensic officers as they were dressed in white coveralls. He stopped his car and approached the field," Russell said. "The figures were all over 6 feet and had blond hair. They seemed to be inspecting the crop. When he got to the edge of the field, he heard what he believed to be a sound not dissimilar to static electricity." Static electricity? Maybe it was rustling crops. Of course, as we well know, all six-foot blond men in coveralls are from outer space. Pass it on.
OCTOBER 21, 2009 Janesville, Wis., Oct. 20 (UPI) -- A man who took a car on a test drive from a Massachusetts dealer traveled more than 1,000 miles to Wisconsin before he was pulled over, police said. Investigators said Aleh Kot, 32, of West Springfield, Mass., drove onto the Massachusetts Turnpike at about 1 p.m. Oct. 15 in the 2010 Honda Accord with a salesman from Balise Honda in the passenger seat, The Republican, Springfield, Mass., reported Tuesday. Kot drove at speeds of up to 125 mph on the road, but the car salesman was able to escape the car in heavy traffic near a tollbooth in West Stockbridge, Mass. Probably the first time in history that a customer took a car salesman for a ride.
