IS THIS POSSIBLE?  PRAY!  PRAY! – AT 9:23 A.M. ET:  A new poll from the ultra-liberal Boston Globe shows Scott Brown ahead of Liewatha (aka Elizabeth Warren).  From The Hill:

Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.) now leads Democrat Elizabeth Warren by 2 percentage points in a new Boston Globe poll, a reversal of the same poll's September numbers, which showed Warren ahead.

The new poll gives Brown 45 percent support to Warren's 43, a statistical tie within the survey's 4-point margin of error, just over a week from Election Day. In September's Globe poll, Warren held a 5-percentage-point lead over Brown, 43-38.

When undecided voters were asked to choose one candidate or the other, the race is a dead heat, with 47 percent backing each.

While Brown has managed to maintain his popularity, with 54 percent viewing him favorably, Warren seems to be suffering from an onslaught of Republican attacks on her work for corporate clients. She is now viewed favorably by 49 percent of respondents, with 42 percent viewing her unfavorably — a shift from last month, when 53 percent viewed her favorably, to 36 percent unfavorable.

Warren might also be suffering from President Obama's shrinking coattails in the state, with the new poll showing a 13-percentage-point drop in support for the president from September.

COMMENT:  This will be very close.  I'd love to see Scott Brown retain his seat.  I think it's healthy for the country and healthy for Massachusetts.  We cannot expect him to be a traditional Republican senator, as he must respect local sensibilities.  (The same is true for Susan Collins in Maine.)  But he's been a good-enough senator, and deserves re-election.

And I love that 13% drop in Obama support in one of the bluest states of them all.  Lookin' good, lookin' good.
