MY PILLS, MY PILLS

There is pain and anguish in the Democratic Party.  By now you all must know - the news is spreading throughout the communes - that Barack Obama had a kind word for Ronald Reagan.  Now the man is being denounced on the fringe left as a closet right-wing wacko.

Now just wait.  Didn't Ronald Reagan have some kind words for Franklin Roosevelt?  Wasn't it widely believed that Roosevelt was his political model?  Did the Republican Party collapse when Reagan was unmasked as a...a Roosevelt admirer? 

What is remarkable is how the Dem ideologists look down on their members.  One must not hear dirty thoughts if one is to belong.  The madrasses of the Democratic Party must be on guard at all times.  Obama will now come under ideological scrutiny.  Will he survive?  Will the Uncle-you know-what-label be applied?

Stand by.  The American equivalent of the Taliban's beard patrol has already gone after Hillary Clinton for impure thoughts.  The woman believes in national defense, you know.  Now it's Obama's turn.  Is John Edwards the only purist left?  A white guy from the deep South?  Oh me God.  This is Bush's fault.
