PLEASE TAKE A LOOK

When even the UN says we're making progress in Iraq, can the Democrats be far behind?  Well, yeah.  But when Reuters reports it, can the Democrats really be that far behind?  Well, it's on the agenda for this weekend's "Save Mars from Humans" conference, so we'll see.  I'll report.

I said this morning that the Republicans weren't planning hard enough for the November election.  It turns out that at least one guy is thinking - Karl Rove.  Read his analysis of how the GOP can win here.

And Larry Summers, now past his prisoner-of-war days at Harvard, has emerged once again as a leading voice on economic matters.  He has some proposals to avoid recession here, in an AP piece that actually shows respect for him.  After they kick you, they make you an elder statesman.
